#107: Beauty Review - Caress Love Forever Body Wash

The first time I heard about the new body wash collection from Caress was from the pages of a beauty magazine. Immediately I headed to my nearest Walgreens and to my surprise not only was it on the shelves but it was also on sale! Of the two scents, Love Forever and Adore Forever, I chose the former.

I'm sad to say I'm a bit disappointed in this body wash. Although the scent was quite heavenly, I found that it left my skin a bit dry after showering. Due to this reason, I was unable to see if it held up to its claim of 12 hours of fragrance because I had no choice but to lotion up! I've never experienced this when using Caress bar soap, so I was taken back for this to happen with this product.

Oh and the color of the body wash scared the hell out of me on the first usage! It's a deep red shade like that of blood. I almost ran for the hills because I thought we had some slasher film type of foolishness going on in my bathroom.

I'm on the fence as to whether I should try the other scent from the Caress Fine Fragrance Line. I wonder if the dryness is associated with this particular scent or the product as a whole. Either way, it's safe to say I won't be purchasing another bottle of this.
