I Joined the Dollar Shave Club: Initial Review

I am tired of being hoodwinked and bamboozled by Walgreens! Razors marketed to women are ridiculously expensive. Why should I be punished for having hairy legs and pits? I guess those constant sponsored Facebook ads got the best of me because finally I caved in and joined the club. The Dollar Shave Club that is.

I have the 4X membership which provides me with a brand new handle and a monthly refill of 4 blade cartridges. The recycling nut that I am enjoyed that the packaging was compact without the need for those foam peanuts or bubble wrap.

It included a handbook with the details of my membership and photos of the Dollar Shave Club team and members. I also received a sample of the shave butter the company raves about. I will give it a try but I know of many less expensive and skin healthy alternatives.

I can't wait to give this a try for a few months and see if it worth the hype. It is just a razor though. How could it disappoint me?
