Why Every Single Parent Needs a Cleaning Schedule
Can I tell you a secret?
If you have kids, keeping your entire house clean at all times is impossible.
No. Seriously, it really is impossible. How, then, do I maintain my sanity and avoid being featured on an episode of Hoarders? I simply tackle one room a day.
I had to be honest with myself. Life is hectic enough with a busy body toddler. I had to accept that as a working single parent that my house wouldn’t be picture perfect 24/7. Do I find it difficult to not want to be in constant clean up mode all the time? Of course I do! Seeing things out of place is most definitely one of my triggers. But there’s nothing like facing your anxieties head on, right?
Below I’m sharing my daily to-do cleaning schedule. It may sound like a lot to do daily, especially during the week when I have to cook and try to squeeze in a work out, but I usually only spend 30 minutes to an hour cleaning. Play a li’ trap music in my headphones and I fly though my tasks!
